HandyBar is a compact, persistent desktop bar for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later that keeps your Spaces, windows, app launcher, file stash, clock, and system performance one click away, without opening another dashboard.
What HandyBar does
- Spaces: Switch Spaces through the representative window shown for each Space.
- Windows: Focus and reorder listed windows, or use their menus to minimize, zoom, close, and capture them.
- Launcher: The Apps view prioritizes running and recently used applications; Files lists files and folders by recent use.
- Stash: Hold files, links, images, and text; revisit clipboard history and a persistent quick note.
- Clock: See the current time, browse Day and Month views, and manage Calendar events and Reminders.
- Performance: Monitor CPU, GPU, memory, disk, network, temperatures, fans, leading processes, and battery status when available.
